Happy March to you all!
I just wanted to share some nutrition facts for you so that this spring and summer may be filled with healthy energy for you and your family.
First of all, eating healthy can seem expensive. Here are some tips to eat healthy on a low budget:
What you eat truly becomes what you are. If you feel tired and feel like you never have enough energy throughout the day, try fueling your body with nutrients that we know are good for us, like vegetables, protein, and fruit.
Hope you all have a wonderful spring!
1. Dress to the weather!
a. It is so important to protect your body from the cold air because when your body is cold it’s easier for germs to attack and make you sick
2. Cover your cough
a. Cough and sneeze into your elbow or tissue.
3. Wash your hands
a. A lot! With soap and water
4. Eat healthy and at home
a. Eating out and unhealthy can expose your body to germs you wouldn’t normally get if you prepared food for yourself
5. Exercise
6. Drink fluids – especially water!
7. Get plenty of sleep
a. When we don’t get enough sleep our body isn’t at its best to protect us from getting sick
8. Get your flu shot
9. Relax
10.Have fun
a. This time of year can be stressful for so many reasons. Try to relax and enjoy the season for your health and yourself
