The Houston Food Bank
 
 
Minimum age of 8 for volunteering.  Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult when volunteering.

Make and deliver brown bag lunches to children all over the city.

Onsite: (or in commercial kitchen)  assembly line sandwich making

Offsite: decorate brown lunch bags .  The children who receive these lunches really love it when the bags are decorated.

Kids' Meals is a 501(c)3 non profit, community based organization, serving healthy lunches to 1,400 hungry pre-school aged children, living in poverty. We provide and deliver nutritious meals, free of cost to the families, Monday through Friday, year-round.

Trees For Houston is a non-profit organization dedicated to planting, protecting and promoting trees.  In our 26 years, we have planted over 378,000 trees to benefit the Houston community.  We recognize that trees clean the air, mitigate run off, cool the surroundings, and beautify our neighborhoods.You can help. You can plant, donate, learn, work, and make friends.  Houston needs trees.
