21st Century Coordinator
The 21stCentury Community Learning Centers (21stCCLC) serves as a supplementary program to enhance local reform efforts. The program assists students in meeting academic standards in core subjects (math, reading, science, social studies) by providing out-of-school time services to students and their families through community learning centers that offer an array of enrichment activities to complement regular academic programs.
21stCCLC is a free program that is designed to expand after-school opportunities for Texas youths Monday - Thursday, generally between 7:00-7:45 a.m. & 3:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. We have five early dismissal days (Oct. 12, 2011, Nov. 9, 2011, Jan. 11, 2012, Feb. 29, 2012, April 18, 2012) program will be from 12:15 to 2:30 p.m.
The purpose of this program is to establish or expand activities in community learning centers that:
Student must be committed to attend no less than 30 days.
Please Note that the 21stCentury After-School Program is NOT a drop in and out program. Your child must show up and have 80% attendance for this program.
Excessive early pick ups will result in dismissal from the program. The earliest pick up time is 4:45 p.m. All students must be picked up on time. The latest pick up time is 5:00 p.m. daily.If there is consistent tardiness in being picked up (only 2 warnings will be given), your child will not be invited to return.
