Ms. Patrice Grovey has been in the field of education for over twenty years where she has worked in the positions of teacher, assistant principal, principal, and director. All of the aforementioned work experience has been in elementary and secondary schools in Houston Independent School District.

She was born and raised in Houston, TX where she attended Burrus ES, Black MS and graduated from Booker T. Washington HS. A graduate of Texas Southern University, she has also worked at KHOU-TV, the Houston Chronicle and Texas Southern University.

Ms. Grovey, has a passion for education and working with students in alternative settings.
